When I first read Harry Potter, Hermione was the one character I looked up to the most.  She was smart, her nose was always stuck in a book, and she had bushy brown hair.  She wasn’t perfect by any means, and she wasn’t created to be the main character’s love interest.  It’s so rare to find a girl like that in books today, and I admire her so much for being an amazing role model.
